As Wyandot BHN celebrates 70 years of service to the Wyandotte County community, we are pleased to host our inaugural Game Changer Gala.
The Game Changer Gala is our opportunity to celebrate the well-won recovery of the people we serve. It is a chance to tell their stories, inspire our supporters and raise the critical funds we need to provide mental health and housing services in our community.
We could not have picked a better name for our event. It is catchy and fun, but more important—it suits our mission and purpose. We know that for individuals struggling with their mental health, those facing homelessness and survivors of trauma, access to quality mental health care and safe, affordable housing IS a game changer. Not only for themselves and their families, but for their friends, neighbors and our community.
Your sponsorship of the Game Changer Gala will make a difference in people’s lives.
You are not just attending what will be a fun and inspiring evening with other mental health champions—you will be changing lives.
Your support will provide therapy for a child who has experienced trauma. Or crisis treatment for a teen struggling with depression and anxiety. You will help move adults and families from homelessness into safe, affordable housing and wrap services around them to sustain their housing.
You will help someone recovering from thoughts of suicide find joy and happiness once again. You will provide emergency shelter for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. You will provide the support needed during some of the toughest moments in a person’s life.
I hope you will join me and other mental health advocates for what will be a fun and inspiring evening as we change the game for mental health.
