Join Wyandot Behavioral Health Network (WBHN) as we celebrate 70 years of service to the Wyandotte County community in 2023. As part of the year-long celebration of this milestone anniversary, WBHN will host its inaugural Game Changer Gala on Tuesday, November 14, at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Game Changer Gala will be a powerful night filled with stories of growth and recovery, as well as opportunities to raise the critical funds needed to continue providing much-needed mental health and housing services in Wyandotte County. For individuals who are struggling with their mental health, those facing homelessness and survivors of trauma, access to mental health care and safe housing truly is a game changer.
The Game Changer Gala will serve as the culminating event of WBHN’s 70th anniversary celebrations, centered on the theme of “Grounded in Community.” This theme focuses on what it means to be a Community Mental Health Center. Grounded in Community is a reflection of WBHN’s heart for and commitment to the Wyandotte County community and a desire to continue growing alongside the community. The Game Changer Gala will be an opportunity for members of the Greater Kansas City community to come together to celebrate the well-won recovery of the thousands of people WBHN has served over the last seven decades and help to change the game for mental health.
